From the earliest days of our congregation, the Daughters of the Sacred Heart have had a special love for the poor, the marginalized, and all who suffer.
Our foundress taught us to see Christ in every person, especially in those whom society overlooks or rejects. This vision continues to inspire our outreach programs today, as we strive to address both immediate needs and root causes of poverty and injustice.
We believe that authentic charity involves not only giving, but also walking alongside those we serve, respecting their dignity, and empowering them to build better futures for themselves and their families.
