Transforming lives through compassionate service - Education, Livelihood, and Spiritual Formation

A Legacy of Love and Service

For over a century, the Daughters of the Sacred Heart have answered God's call to spread His boundless love throughout the world.

Our journey began in 1882 when our foundress, moved by the burning love of Christ's Sacred Heart, gathered a small community of women committed to prayer, education, and service to the poor. What started as a humble mission has blossomed into a global congregation touching countless lives across continents.

Today, we continue to live out our charism through education, healthcare, pastoral ministry, and social outreach. Each sister brings her unique gifts to our shared mission, united by one heart and one purpose: to make God's love visible in our wounded world.

"Love is for us the leading energy as well as the ultimate goal."

— Maria Teresa Nuzzo, Foundress
